When will s1mple join FaZe?

FURIA Esports captain Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo has shared his thoughts on the future of global CS star Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. FalleN suggested that the legendary Ukrainian AWPer could eventually become a permanent member of FaZe Clan — but only after his current contract with Natus Vincere expires.

“I think s1mple will end up in FaZe Clan. But only after his contract ends.”

This was announced amidst the ongoing speculation about Kostyliev's future. After a prolonged break from competitive play, s1mple returned briefly to play for FaZe in two major events: IEM Dallas 2025 and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. In both events, he was loaned to FaZe as their primary AWPer, temporarily filling in for Latvian player Helvijs "broky" Smits, who was benched at the time.

Following the conclusion of BLAST.tv Austin Major on June 22, s1mple’s loan period ended, and broky returned to FaZe’s starting lineup. But Kostyliev's dominating performance with one of the globe's top teams fueled speculation about a possible permanent switch.

As per close sources, s1mple's NAVI deal will be expiring at the end of 2025, with the exact date not known. In his recent comments, even s1mple appeared to suggest that he has no intention of sitting idle team-wise and will soon return to action.

Things being as they are, FaZe remains the most likely destination for s1mple's future.Considering his experience and stature in the scene, joining a team of FaZe’s caliber would be a logical step — especially if both sides have already built chemistry during their joint tournament run.
