NAVI Valued s1mple at $650,000

It was revealed that Natus Vincere were ready to swap their star AWPer Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev for $650,000. This is according to sources from the organization and has sparked new controversy on whether s1mple could return to active play.

According to the reports, this amount was an initial asking price, and NAVI were open to negotiations. At least three unnamed organizations reportedly showed interest in the transfer, though their identities remain unknown. One of the interested parties was allegedly FaZe Clan, but they ultimately backed out due to the high price.

This isn't the first time s1mple’s transfer value has come up. In 2024, insider Aleksei “OverDrive” Biryukov claimed that the buyout could exceed $3 million, though s1mple himself sarcastically said that even this figure was too low. Later, Valeriy “L3rich” Kharitonov, owner of Aurora Gaming, hinted that s1mple’s transfer could cost around $1.8 million.

What’s Going On with s1mple Now?

S1mple has remained on NAVI’s inactive roster since 2023. His contract is set to run until the end of 2025, although the exact end date has not been disclosed. During this inactive period, he made two appearances on the professional stage — first as a stand-in for Team Falcons, and later for FaZe Clan. These temporary appearances fueled speculation about a permanent move to FaZe.

Recently, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo openly stated that “s1mple will end up in FaZe — but only after his contract with NAVI ends.” At this point, that scenario seems to be the most realistic — unless both parties agree on reducing the transfer price.
