StarLadder CS2 Major 2025 to Be Held in Budapest — Dates and Venues Announced

The organizers revealed that the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 will be hosted in the Hungarian capital from November 24 to December 14, with a total prize pool of $1.25 million.

According to StarLadder CEO Roman Romantsov, the company is aiming to deliver a top-tier experience:

"Hosting another Major is an honor for us, and we want to make it truly unforgettable.

Budapest is the perfect location to push the boundaries of what a CS2 tournament can be. From day one to the grand final, we're going to create something that fans will remember — both in the arena and around the world."

All stages of the tournament will be held in front of a live audience. The group stage and Swiss stage will take place at MTK Sportpark, an arena with a capacity of up to 2,000 people.

The playoffs will be hosted at the MVM Dome, Hungary’s largest indoor arena, which can accommodate up to 20,000 spectators.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 Schedule:

• Opening Stage – November 24–27

• Elimination Stage – November 29 – December 2

• Legends Stage – December 4–7

• Playoffs – December 11–14

This will be the first CS2 Major held in Central Europe and the second Major ever organized by StarLadder — following the StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. The event is set to become a defining moment in the new era of Counter-Strike.
