The MongolZ to launch CS2 academy team

Mongolian esports organization The MongolZ has announced it will sign a youth roster for Counter-Strike 2. The announcement was made via the team’s official account on social media platform X.

The MongolZ recently placed second at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the United States, falling short against (Vitality) in the grand final. Prior to that, the team finished in the top 4 at IEM Dallas 2025 and took 5th–8th place at PGL Astana 2025. As of now, the squad holds 4th place in the official Valve world ranking.

Previously, rumors surfaced online that other esports organizations, including (FaZe) and (BIG), are also planning to create youth rosters for Counter-Strike 2.
